What is the difference between emulsion and eggshell?Updated 2 months ago

‘Emulsion’ and ‘Eggshell’ are the two finishes we offer for each shade.

Choose ‘Emulsion’ to coat your walls with wonder. It delivers a soft, matt finish.

Or opt for the more hard-wearing ‘Eggshell’, ideal for high-traffic spaces and perfect for all of your woodwork, trim, radiators and furniture paint needs. It delivers a durable, low-sheen finish.

Top tip: ‘Eggshell’ is also suitable for more functional areas such as the bathroom.

If you prefer a matt finish but would like extra protection, we recommend applying a matt varnish over the 'Emulsion' painted surface.
